Questions people ask

Is MeshChat really free?

Yes. The apps run within Cloudflare's free plan, and AI uses the providers' free allowances. You only pay if you choose to top up with an AI provider.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Sign in with Cloudflare and tap Get; everything else happens by itself.

Where does my data live?

On your own Cloudflare account (Durable Objects and R2). The MeshChat hub doesn't store messages, AI keys or sessions.

Does the person I message need MeshChat too?

For private messages, yes: everyone has their own MeshChat on their own Cloudflare (free, one tap). Arena guests only need the link.

What if MeshChat goes away?

Your apps and data stay on your account, and private messages go straight between servers, not through the hub.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Open it in the browser and add it to your home screen to use it like an app, with push notifications.
